This is a legal document as to our responsibility to you and yours as an informed customer of our business.  These are our official Terms and Conditions.  Every time you place an order on our website, we require you to check the box that says that you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, so please fulfill your responsibility of reading them.

BY CHECKING THE BOX OFF AT CHECKOUT AND AGREEING TO THE TERMS LISTED IN IT'S ENTIRETY, YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE DETAILS FOR THE LISTING OF SERVICES OR FOR THE ITEM THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED. 

YOU ARE ALSO AGREEING THAT BY PAYING FOR THE BALANCE OWED ON OUR SERVICES, THAT YOU WILL NOT ATTEMPT TO DO A CHARGE BACK OR DISPUTE WITH ANY CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR WITH PAYPAL FOR THE SERVICES OR ITEM YOU PURCHASED. 

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE PICTURES AND/OR VIDEO OF OUR WORK AND ARE PAYING THE BALANCE OF OUR SERVICES IN AGREEMENT THAT WE COMPLETED THE WORK FOR YOU AS WAS DESCRIBED IN THE DEPOSIT YOU MADE ON OUR WEBSITE WHICH CONTAINED THESE TERMS, AS WELL AS ON THE BALANCE YOU PAID FOR YOUR ITEM/ BAG RESTORATION OR REPAIR.  THIS WAS ALL CUSTOM WORK AND YOU AGREED TO THE SERVICES BEFORE AND AFTER COMPLETED.  ALL CUSTOM WORK IS NON REFUNDABLE, YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS IS BINDING. 

 

IMPORTANT :  We are not associated in any way with the company Louis Vuitton.  We are a small cobbler company with a workshop on site.  We are leather crafters.  We only replace the leather parts to LV bags and we can not exactly replicate every detail or the LV marked hardware when replacing all of the leather on an LV bag.  This applies to packages as well as individual services.  

There are several areas that we operate in: 

please note that the abbreviation “LV”, refers to the company Louis Vuitton. 

- We create and handmake handbag accessories 

- We sell cleaning & conditioning leather products 

- We provide custom restoration and repairs of luxury bags,  including pre bundled packages for the LV Neverfull bag of all outside leather replacement

Concerning Repairs and Restorations of handbags, LV and other brands included. 

We CAN NOT match all the details of the leather work done by Louis Vuitton.  They are a huge global company with factories and manufacturing to make their bags and products.

We are cobblers/ artisans, and our services provide repairs or replacements of the LEATHER PARTS of LV bags and other luxury brand bags.  We source our Vachetta leather from Italy,  it’s is very high quality Vachetta.  Please note that leather stretches and unlike LV, we place our leather on your bag by hand, which means it can have slight misalignment from stretching or human placement.  We can not make it perfect in the case of replacing the top leather trim.  

In addition please expect the following possible differences in comparison to an original Louis Vuitton bag, we detail all of these possible differences from the original way Louis Vuitton makes their bags with their leather in the listing for the pre packaged offerings as well as for any custom work that we offer.  

<Our stitching size and placement may not be exact or exactly as LV.  We are humans doing this by hand and we don’t have the equipment LV factories have.>

<Our edging may be a slightly different shade or not as exact as an LV factory applied edging is and since LV uses a machine to edge their leather and we do this process by hand, we may not have the same level of perfection as they do.>

<Our leather is a high quality Vachetta imported from Italy, but the exact matching sizes to an LV original may be slightly different as we need to accommodate for our own sewing machine / cobbler machine.> 

<We use sturdy gold colored hardware replacements for all rings, the exact size and style may vary slightly from LV original hardware.>

<We attempt to re use your bag’s LV hardware, but can not guarantee it will my break when removing it. LV purposely makes it hard to remove and reuse.  If we can not re use your hardware marked with Louis Vuitton on it, we will use plain, gold colored hardware instead.  Again, we do our best as humanly possible. >

PLEASE HAVE REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS, WE WANT OUR CUSTOMERS TO BE WELL AWARE OF WHAT TO EXPECT SO THEY ARE HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME OF THEIR REPAIR AND / OR RESTORATION. THIS IS WHY WE HAVE SPENT SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT WITH ALL THE DETAILS IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS WELL AS ON THE LISTING ITSELF.  NOT ONLY IN DESCRIBING THE WORK, BUT IN PROVIDING PICTURES AS WELL. 

WE HAVE LEARNED TO DO LEATHER REPLACEMENT ON LOUIS VUITTON BAGS TO MATCH THE OVERALL SENSE OF THE STYLE NOT THE SPECIFIC DETAILS THAT ARE PROPRIETARY TO LOUIS VUITTON. 

Returns

<ALL OF OUR REPAIRS AND RESTORATIONS ARE PERFORMED ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFIC DETAILS OF THE CUSTOM PROPOSAL OR OF THE DETAILS ON THE PRE PACKAGE RESTORATIONS. >

-We also hand make to order all of the accessories you sell, therefore we do not accept returns on any of our accessories. 
-We also do not accept returns on our Vachetta leather care products.

The description under each products specifies the limits and expectations for each product and we only sell our Vachetta care products as maintenance care items, they are not restorative products and can not and do not restore, repair or turn back the damage done to your Vachetta leather.  
An incredible amount of work goes into restoring our bags so that they arrive to you in the best possible pre-owned condition.

SHIPPING: 

As detailed in the listing for our cobbler services, we pay for the shipping of your bag to our workshop and charge you for return shipping upon completion of our services. We add the return shipping charges to the final balance owed. 

TERMS

Purchase of Handmade Accessories: We hand make all of our accessories and there will be slight variations to the embellishment placement on every single accessory since they are embellished by hand, not a machine.  We make every humanly possible attempt to replicate the exact design you see in the pictures and follow the sample in the pictures as the model for all future similar accessories, but human error is always possible and you may find a misplaced crystal or some extra glue marks.  We do our best to bring you a high quality product and ask that you please look at the overall product and allow for some small glue marks or imperfectly aligned and placed embellishments.  We do not consider slight misalignments, substitutions or glue marks to be material defects, and will not offer a return on any accessory for these reasons.  We do however, want you to be happy, and if you feel there is an excess or errors, please bring it to our attention and will work with you to make you happy.  

Purchase of Repairs or Restoration Services:  We provide extensive details on the work we will provide to you either by giving you a proposal or on the listing for the deposit on pre packaged restorations.  We explain each facet of the restoration and describe our limitations and provide a picture of past work for that facet of the restoration so you can clearly see what you will get. You can not claim ignorance as to our limitations because you did not carry out your responsibility of reading the details of the work you are purchasing.

Terms and conditions that apply to restorations and repairs done by us, Luxurybagrehab.com.  All of these logistical details are also a part of the listing you purchase for our restoration services.  We are detailing them here again under the terms and conditions so there are no misunderstandings. 

We take a 50% deposit on all restorations & repairs work, this deposit will be applied towards the services completed.   

We send you a shipping label and pay for your shipping to our workshop.  We provide insurance coverage on your bag for up to  $500.

We charge you for the return shipping fee on your final invoice, meaning we pay shipping one way only.  The fee covers shipping back to you and gives your insurance coverage up to $500.

We want your experience to be hassle free and easy.  To get going on any work you need us to do for you. Below are the steps in our process of working with you on restorations and repairs, they are also included with your listing for a deposit for the work we will be doing for you.  

  1. ADD this listing to leave a deposit to your cart and purchase.  
  2. Next, Look for a label which will be sent to your email. Please allow us up to 1 day to email you the label. It’s not automated because many customers have special requests. 
  3. Pack your bag in a box and affix the label to it.
  4. Drop your box off at any shipping center that accepts the carrier on your label. 
  • Once we get your items, we will evaluate your bag(s) and review the services you asked for.  We will email or text you our recommendations based on what we can do and what you’d like done to confirm we are in agreement. If you purchased a pre packaged item, this step is not necessary. 
  • Once we receive your return response to our email or text agreement, we will get busy making your bag beautiful!!! (Please allow up to 30 days for completion from this point) 
  • You will get another email or text message once we are done with the restorations / repairs, with a link to pay the balance owed on all work done.  This will include pictures of the completed work for you to see. 
  • Once you pay the invoice, we will pack your items to ship back to you.  
  • PLEASE READ OUR DETAILED INFORMATION BELOW... As a part of the terms and conditions of the purchase of services via your deposit, you will be agreeing to these terms and conditions.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

- The shipping labels to us and from us will include coverage for up to $500 in insurance.  Should your items be lost or damaged during shipment, you will be responsible for filing the claim with the shipper.  Since the claim will be for your bag(s), you will need to provide some form of proof as to the value.  This is not something we can do, therefore, this responsibility must fall solely to you.  You are the bag owner, not us. Therefore we can not file a lost item claim, only you can.
- Once your bag(s) are delivered to us, we are responsible for their well being while in our possession.  You have coverage towards any damage through your credit card company or PayPal, which you used to purchase a deposit towards services.  We want you to have peace of mind you’re covered, but also want you to know that we will treat your cherished bag as if it were our own.  We have great respect and honor towards our responsibilities to you.  
- Please allow up to 30 days for work to be completed, should we require longer, we will be communicating with you as to why.  Once work is completed on your bag(s), and a final email invoice is emailed to you, you will have 20 days from the time the email is sent to pay the invoice before we claim ownership of your bag(s).  At which time we will likely sell the bag to recuperate our costs for services completed.  
- Once you Mail your bag to us and we email you our recommendations for services, you have 10 days to either agree, make a change request or disagree and ask us to return your bag to you.
    - if you make a change request, we will make the appropriate change and re send an email asking for agreement with the changes. 
     - if you request we return your bag, the deposit we collected will be kept to cover our cost of shipping your item to us and then back to you.  Meaning, if you do not move forward with having us provide any services , you will not be entitled to a refund of your deposit. 
     - if we do not hear from you within 10 days, on the 11th day, we will ship your items back to you, using your deposit to cover our shipping costs to and from and your will not be entitled to a return of your deposit.  

- We will add on a return shipping fee of $35 to your final invoice to cover the return shipping to you of your bag, it will include $500 in insurance coverage and require a signature for deliver.  


PLEASE NOTE:  

None of our services are returnable or refundable.

All our work is custom done.  

We will only charge for services we are able to do.

We are professionals and provide every service offered to it’s optimal possibility, but we can not perform unrealistic services like turning dark leather back to light, or restoring cracks from age or other for any other reason. 

We also do not provide details that LV bags have on their original handbags, we are very specific as to what we can and will do. 

Please do not claim ignorance or become upset with an outcome that we clearly explained we could not do in our listing and in our terms and conditions.  


 If you feel we made a mistake or missed something, then we will work to fix it if it was something you paid for in the services we both agreed to.  

If after you receive your bag you realize you should have done an add on you left off, you will have to go through the process again and purchase that add on.  

We aim for complete customer satisfaction and rely on your realistic understanding of what is possible on our part.
