We are not Louis Vuitton and are not associated with Louis Vuitton. We are artisans or cobblers who do leatherworking.  We have learned to copy the overall style of Louis Vuitton’s work, but there will be variations from your original bag since we are not the global company known as Louis Vuitton and do not have the factories and equipment they have. )

✅ Many consumers feel that the LV Neverfull bag's monogram-coated canvas is declining in quality.  Customers are finding the monogram-coated canvas is cracking faster and the top coat is peeling.  Vintage monogram bags are known for their better quality monogram coated canvas and many people are making the smart choice to restore their bag, rather than get rid of it and buy a new one.  

✅ Going directly to LV is not easy.  They are not in the business of repairing bags, they are in the business of selling new bags.  They are somewhat reluctant with their repairs and there is extreme fluctuation in attitude, service, and cost from store to store. Trying to get an appointment to get a quote and send a bag in online is hard to do and they don't have many appointments.  Again, they sell new bags!  There are hurdles depending on the store.... some stores outright refuse service if they see cracks or stretching/ rippling.  They just say no, we won't repair it.  Some stores won't do the repair unless you can provide the first and last name of the original owner along with the store where the bag was purchased.  We have no idea why this is or why the policy varies from one store to another.  Last but not least, we have heard 6 months is the earliest you can expect your bag returned and more likely it will be 12 months.  

 ✅You will still be able to resell your LV if you choose.  Our authentication company, Authenticate First, has consistently authenticated LV Neverfulls and other LV bag we have replaced the leather on.  We are sure not to touch the things they need to see to authenticate... Such as heat stamps ( inside pocket) and the Date code (under the inside pocket)

* We use authentic Vachetta Leather in Natural or Chocolate Brown, depending on what matches your bag  The leather we use is very high quality and we source our hides from the same tannery in France as LV  

What Else You Should Know 

✅ Stitching Placement and Appearance: 

Please note that our stitching size and placement may be slightly different than your original LV top trim.  We do the best as humanly possible. Our work is done by our own hands, and is not mass produced and manufactured like LV does it,so it will not be exactly matched to LV. 

✅ Top Trim Rippling and Stretching: 

We often see bags to restore that are stretched out and rippled along the top trim. This is not an issue we can correct. However, adding the new leather top trim does help make the shape appear less stretched and rippled   

✅ Thread Color Matching: 

We match the thread to the outside color on the bag.  For Brown monogram or Damier Azur we use yellow like LV on the entire restoration. We do not match the the thread you see on the inside of your bag to your inside lining color.

On Damier Ebene bags, we use the chocolate brown thread like LV on the outside as well as your unsure lining. 

✅ This is a Restoration for Only the Outside Leather in your Neverfull bag  

The inside leather has hardware and a heat stamp which is important to leave untouched so that you are able to re-sell your bag in the future if you wish.  We will not replace any leather inside your bag.  The date code is also untouched and nicely tucked away under your inside pocket. 

✅ Bag Exterior 

We will clean and shine the exterior coated canvas of your bag  we can usually remove minor scuffs as well   

Add On Options 

 ✅ Custom matched inside leather base :  $65

We do not clean the inside of your bag as a part of this special package offer   The lining is canvas and is extremely difficult to get clean   We also need to be careful of getting any water near the leather. 

We offer an add on option to have us make you a custom matched inside leather base that sits perfectly into the bottom of your bag. We usually match the base to the leather straps on your bag.  We can also match your lining if you’d like.  The result is excellent and having the insure base helps give structure to the bottom of your bag which helps protect the  outside corners from wearing as fast.  

✅Canvas Crack Repairs $50+

The outside of your Neverfull is not leather, it is coated canvas. This is a proprietary material trademarked by LV. We do not have this material, only LV does.  We can fix cracks by bonding them and then covering them with a flexible color matched leather filler.  We match the color to the outside coated canvas in a way that best blends into the bag color to camouflage the repair as best we can. 

For minor cracks we charge $50.  If your cracks are bigger than a 1/4” and are “many”, more than 4, we will need to custom quote this for you and upon your approval, we will add it to your balance due when we finish   

 ✅ Corner Issues: Corner Scuffs/ Corner Lining Showing/ Big Holes to the Corners: $30 per corner

Most Neverfull bags take a beating. This can include the corners.  We offer the option to have us fix the corners on a per corner basis.  We fix them by using a color matched flexible leather filler   It’s extremely durable.  We blend the repair to the color of the outside of your bag as best as possible.  The repair will be noticeable but it will blend in and you will likely be the only one to notice it. The best part about our corner repairs is that they are durable and stronger than the original coated canvas. 

✅ Purse Organizer  - colors and sizes availably at checkout $45 

Our customers know we are HUGE advocates for using purse organizers.  It’s an incredibly easy fix to a lot of issues. They are sturdy and strong, therefore they help support the bag’s structure  a lot of issues with the outside cracking are due to the lack of structural support to Neverfull bags. They sit on top of your lining and protect it.  Say goodbye to dirty stains and wear to your lining.  A purse organizer can easily be replaced, your bag lining can not.  Finally, you can easily find your keys, your wallet, your lipstick! No more searching around the bag with your hand to try and find everything.  The purse organizer is amazing at keeping things neat and organized!

✅ How Long Does it Take

It normally takes about 30 days to perform the restoration/ makeover.  We will send you a link/ invoice with pictures once your bag is complete.  We then ask you to pay the balance and after you do so, you can expect your bag to be mailed out within 1-2 business days after.  

✅ We always notify you once we receive your bag at our workshop so you know it arrived safe and we are working on it   

✅ LuxuryBagRehab has been incorporated since 2019 and is a registered corporation in the state of Florida as well as a registered foreign entity corporation in the state of North Carolina.  Making us able to operate out of either state.  Our workshop is currently located in Raleigh, NC

IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

✅ OUR PROCEDURES: -We cover the cost to ship your bag to our workshop and charge you for shipping your bag back to you. We take out insurance coverage for up to $500 on your bag in case it is lost in shipping. 

-In the unlikely event that your bag is lost during shipping to or from us, you will be the one who must file a claim, since you are the bag’s owner. 

-We ask that you please take several pictures of your bag prior to shipment. Front, Back, bottom, hardware markings, and a clear picture of the date code for your bag. You will need these for a claim. 

-You will also need to provide proof of value, so if you do not have receipts, using the pictures you take, we can assist you by having your bag valued with our authenticators. This will only be necessary in the unlikely event that your bag is lost in shipping.

-Although this has only happened ONCE in 5 years for us, we want to be very clear about the procedure should this ever happen again. 

✅ Once we receive your bag, we will do a thorough evaluation of your bag, and send you an updated quote if there are any additional services we recommend or can provide for you.   Depending on our evaluation, this invoice may be exactly the same as the initial quote, or it may be updated for any additional services that we are able to do for you. This procedure does not apply to Neverfull replacement packages such as this service which you are now leaving a deposit.  The cost is stated upfront.  You pay the balance plus the return shipping will be due once the services are complete.  We will send you a payment link to pay this balance.

Damier Ebene Neverfull Bags

If you have a Damier Ebene bag, we use matching Chocolate Brown Vachetta.  We do not replace the side cinch small leather piece that holds on the side cinches on Ebene bags.  The leather is rarely bad enough at that place to need replacing and it is better to leave it as an original part in this case. In cases where the small pieces are extremely worn on the Damier Ebene bag’s, we will replace them. On all of the Neverfull bags with natural color Vachetta, we always replace these pieces.  The natural Vachetta leather wears much faster and harder than the brown leather on Damier Ebene Neverfull bags.
