We insure your bag for $500 in the highly unlikely case UPS looses your bag in transit. Please take a picture of the front and back of your bag. A clear close up of the date code, the LV heat stamp and any stamped hardware. If a claim does need to be filed, this information will be necessary. Again, highly unlikely, but better safe than sorry.
As discussed, we will make sure your leather has at least 20% moisture to safely proceed with adjusting the pH level in order to lift out the stains. If not, then we will switch to painting it and will consult you with color options.
If we do the procedure and the stains do not fully lift out, we will show you how clean we were able to get it and let you decide then if it’s to your satisfaction or if you’d rather us paint the leather. At which time we can discuss the color.
In a case like this, we’ve had great success removing most of the stain and would much rather try it than go right to painting. From past work, the handles are much more resistant to stains coming out, but again, we will show you how much we are able to remove.
In either of the above cases, you would only be charged for the painting aspect. Meaning if the stain removal was not successful , you would not be charged the $480, only the $350 for painting.
