WATER STAINS on Vachetta Leather

By far one of the most unsightly things to have on your Vachetta Leather are Water Stains.  

Unfortunately, since Vachetta leather is unsealed, the water stain is deep down in the fibers and can't be spot treated or wiped away. 

There is no one magical product that you don't know about that will simply remove a water stain. 

The only way to remove water stains is to use special products which adjust the pH level of the Vachetta, thereby causing the stains to rise up to the top of the leather fibers, where we can extract them.  

We have studied with a master leather chemist who has taught us what products to use and how to use them to remove water stains.  It is a labor intensive process, but yields excellent results.  

We are happy to evaluate your bag to see if we can perform this process for your. There are pre qualifiers that allow us to evaluate Vachetta that will benefit from this process. The most important is that the leather still must have 20% moisture,which we have a meter to read, and that it has not yet started to crack, nor does it have blackened areas.
